We don't publish a single price list, because the rate that applies to your job depends on the market and the proceeding. What we can tell you is exactly what can appear on a Wren invoice. There are four kinds of charges, and nothing outside them.
The appearance
The reporter's time at the proceeding — half day or full day, statements for the record, and waiting time past the first half hour. Early or evening hours, weekends and federal holidays, and in-person attendance carry an uplift.
The transcript
The original, priced per page, and copies for any other party who orders one. Rough drafts and hard copy are priced separately. Realtime carries a per-page surcharge plus a transmission fee per receiving attorney. Expedited turnaround is a percentage of the original page rate. A minimum applies per deponent.
When the record is harder to make
Arbitrations, public meetings, and workers' compensation hearings carry a surcharge, as do proceedings we flag as complex. If your job qualifies, you'll know before it's scheduled — not after.
What we arrange for you
Videography, interpreters, equipment, travel and shipping. These are billed at cost or at market rate, and confirmed with you in writing before the job. Never after.
